In-Office Procedures
Our office provides several minor procedures in our office that may avoid the need for hospitalization. This saves you time, money, and the need for general anesthesia.
IUD’s (Intrauterine Device)
The intrauterine device (IUD), is a birth control device placed into a woman’s uterus by a health care provider. It is usually made of plastic or metal with a string attached.
Mammograms / 3D Mammograms
We now have in-office, Screening Mammograms, 3D Mammograms, Diagnostic Mammograms and Breast Ultrasounds.
Nexplanon
Nexplanon is a small, thin implantable hormonal contraceptive that is placed just under the skin of the upper, inner arm. It offers up to 3 years of birth control at 99%.
Obstetrics
We handle the complete care of pregnant women from the pregnancy test through the post-partum care. With in-house ultrasound, amniocentesis, and monitoring tests available to our patients.
Osteoporosis / Bone Density Scans or Dexa Scans
Prioritize your bone health with our safe and painless Dexa Scans. We perform osteoporosis/bone mineral density scans/dex scans in-office. These scans provide essential information for your healthcare provider. A Dexa Scan is the only way to detect low bone density and diagnose osteoporosis. The National Osteoporosis Foundation (NOF) recommends a Dexa Scan of the hip and spine by a central DXA machine to diagnose osteoporosis.
Robot Assisted Surgery
Robot-assisted surgery offers enhanced precision and flexibility for minimally invasive procedures, resulting in quicker patient recovery and improved surgeon dexterity. Dr. Tanneisha Barlow and Dr. Luisa Vera are certified and available for consultations upon request.
